I am a contemporary professional landscape painter living in Southern California. I have been a full time professional artist since 1997 and drawing and painting as soon as I could hold a brush and pencil. My mediums are oil and pastel. Although I may be attracted to a certain place or location, it is always my goal to move beyond a literal translation and say something about light and color as my response to a place or scene.
